Dance bio Kasey Cosentino was born in Niagara Falls New York, she started dancing at the age of 2. Passion began as she started winning championships for dance and choreography throughout the country. Kasey was a member of the footloose extreme team at the age of 18, which traveled to the Bahamas to perform with star choreographer Mandy Moore. She has been choreographing for 14 yrs in the united states and Canada. Her training began in tap at Miss Bev's dance studio in Buffalo NY. She competed in many competitions and work shops, training with top choreographers such as Savion Glover, Mia Michaels , Dina Rizzo, Brian Friedman, Nappy tabs, Talia Favia, and Robert Hoffman. While jazz is her favorite style she is well trained in tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary , and ballet. Kasey danced and performed for a year in Walt Disney world Florida while working as an intern. She was also a featured dancer for the Miss Niagara and Miss Greater Niagara pageants. She moved to New York City where she finished her degree in Interior design at the Art Institute and attended classes at Broadway Dance Center, Radio City Music Hall and Steps dance studio for 5yrs. She has been teaching and choreographing in the Bay Area for the past 6 years. Kasey has helped two studios in the Bay Area become well established competitive studios in competitions like KAR, Showstoppers and Spotlight to name a few. She was also featured in dance teacher magazine to recognize her jazz choreo and appropriate sassy style for children. She has been asked to guest choreographer at many studios throughout the united states and Canada. She was asked to teach her WERKshop at Ivivva in Cupertino CA and Dance studios in NY. You can also find her in the Lizzy Stone music video "it's not over" shot in LA. The dancers featured in this video have been choreographed and trained by Kasey Cosentino. enjoy!!
